With a lasting gift, you're doing much more than making a donation: you're enabling us not only to operate on the many children already on our waiting lists, but also to better deal with emergencies and launch new medical and training programs in the field. In short, you save more lives.

Today, regular monthly direct debit donations are the most effective way of supporting our actions.

Unrestricted (they finance all the association’s activities, not a specific action), these regular donations enable us to pursue projects that are under-funded but essential, or to mobilize emergency funds to respond to a humanitarian crisis, such as the earthquake in Haiti.

  • I act against the injustice of place of birth, to offer every child the same chances of survival and development;
  • I’m joining a community of 40,000 loyal and regular donors;
  • I receive news of the children saved thanks to my donations.

Generosity in total freedom

You give according to your means, as the amount of your monthly donation by direct debit is free (from €8 per month). You can change or stop your support at any time with a simple email or phone call.

Generous tax benefits

La Chaîne de l’Espoir is a non-profit association of general interest. As such, regular donations to La Chaîne de l’Espoir entitle you to the following tax reductions, if you are taxable

  • For individuals: 75% of the amount of your monthly donation is deductible from your income tax, up to a limit of €1,000 for 2024. Beyond this amount, you benefit from a 66% reduction, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income (art. 200 of the French General Tax Code).
  • For companies: 60% of the amount of your regular donation is deductible from your corporation tax, up to a limit of €20,000 or 0.5% of your sales excluding VAT in 2024 (art. 238 bis of the French General Tax Code).

How to set up
a sustainable donation?

By internet: we invite you to visit our monthly donation page by clicking here. Select “I donate every month” and indicate the amount of your regular support. You can pay securely by setting up a SEPA mandate (or by credit card). All the personal and banking information you exchange on the donation forms is secure and protected by Paybox or Ogone.

By post: contact Donor Relations on 01 44 12 66 49, who will send you a SEPA mandate to be completed and returned to us by post.
You can change the amount of your regular support at any time, suspend it or stop it via your donor space or by contacting Donor Relations on 01 44 12 66 49 or by email(donateurs@chainedelespoir.org).

Direct debit is a simple and effective way to contribute to our humanitarian actions.

By receiving a regular sum each month, you enable La Chaîne de l’Espoir to have resources available all year round to finance our actions and perpetuate the projects we have developed.

How can I be sure that my donation will be used effectively?

La Chaîne de l’Espoir guarantees the transparent use of your monthly donations:

  • Our accounts are certified by an independent auditor appointed by Deloitte & Associés.
  • We have been awarded the “Don en Confiance” label, an organization that certifies and monitors associations and foundations that appeal to the public’s generosity.
  • Our activity and financial reports are available for all to consult.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

No, there’s no minimum monthly donation: you give the amount you want, at the pace you want. The amount is automatically deducted from your bank account. However, we do issue a tax receipt for donations of €5 or more.
You can increase, decrease or stop your direct debit at any time.

How do I get my tax receipt as a regular donor?

You receive a single tax receipt for all your one-off donations over the past year. This document is sent out in the 1st quarter of the following year.
