It is “Back to school” in Thailand!
Children and teachers have happily returned to school
In Thailand, the rain season has started, but it is also the beginning of the school year. All 36 children of the small school of Ban Nong Bua are delighted to be reunited with their classmates.
The teachers belonging to our network of partner schools are also back to work. 40 teachers representing 37 schools have exchanged views with the local team of La Chaîne de l’Espoir about the introduction of new educational activities focusing on the child.
Beside the educational projects supported by La Chaîne de l’Espoir already carried out by the schools, child clubs will also soon be established that will contribute to the development of specific activities adapted to the needs and problems of each school (school health and nutrition; sex education and prevention of teen pregnancy; professional training and development of income-generating activities; strengthening of science and English language education...).
