Maï is now full of energy
At the age of five, Maï found it difficult to eat and tired at the slightest effort. Worrying symptoms for a girl in full development. This little Vietnamese girl suffered from a cardiac anomaly combining an interventricular and interatrial communication.
Her parents, farmers on low incomes, couldn’t afford the surgery she needed to avoid future complications.
Welcomed with her mother at the Children’s Pavilion in Hô Chi Minh City, Maï benefited from open-heart surgery. Today, she has regained all her childlike vitality.
Thank you for responding to our call for support for Maï!
“Maï now goes to school like all children, breathes without difficulty, has a better appetite and can have fun with her friends.”
