Cambodia: The Centre for Neurosciences at Calmette Hospital of Phnom Penh (CNPP)

Programme Coordinator: Professor François Xavier Roux (neuro surgeon) and On-site Coordinator: Denis Sainte-Marie

It is estimated that 5000 new cases of intracranial tumours go untreated each year, on-third effecting children. In 2010, with motivation from Professor François-Xavier Roux and in association with Cambodian health authorities, La Chaîne de l’Espoir decided to create a modern center of neurosciences sufficiently provisioned to respond to this health emergency.
