A cardiac surgery mission by Dr Gérard Babatasi, head of the cardiac surgery department at Caen University Hospital, will visit Phnom Penh and Siem Reap from September 25 to October 6, 2023. He will be accompanied by Dr Pascale Maragnes, a cardiopediatrician specializing in neonatal ultrasound at Caen University Hospital.

A cardiac surgery mission led by Dr Gérard Babatasi, Head of Cardiac Surgery at Caen University Hospital, visited Phnom Penh and Siem Reap from January 09 to 17, 2023.

He was accompanied by Dr Jérôme Petit, interventional cardiopediatrician at Marie-Lannelongue Pediatric Hospital.

An operating and training mission took place in Phnom Penh from November 26 to December 4. It was led by Prof. Didier Scavarda, head of the pediatric neurosurgery department at Marseille’s La Timone Enfant hospital, accompanied by Dr. Sandrine Seltzer, anesthetist, and Dr. Jacques Beaurain, head of the neurosurgery department at Dijon University Hospital, accompanied by Muriel Pedron, operating room nurse.

From April 22 to May 8, a La Chaîne de l’Espoir cardiac surgery mission will take place in Cambodia.
