Benin : Paediatric Surgery

We are developing paediatric surgery within the Cotonou Mother and Child Hospital (HOMEL).
OBJECTIVES :
- To take responsibility for and operate on children in need
- To support training in complex surgical techniques of local medical teams
ACTIVITY :
General Paediatric Surgery
- Multiple general paediatric surgery missions are organised each year
- Support for equipment and infrastructure for HOMEL
Medical Training
Through a scholarship, La Chaîne de l’Espoir finances the training of multiple Beninese students working to obtain their Postdoctoral Diploma of Paediatric Surgery.
